Named for the Road
That Connects Us.
The "212" in our name comes from Highway 212, the road that runs through our corner of Minnesota and connects small towns like ours to the Twin Cities and beyond. That is what we want to be for our clients: the connection between a great local business and the customers looking for it online.
The "Lab" is how we work. We experiment, test, and refine until a design or feature earns its place. Then we build it properly and lock it down.
212 Design Lab was founded by Sam Lockton, a developer with a long background in building custom web platforms, running live servers, and keeping online communities fast, stable, and secure. That experience shapes everything we do: sites that look great, perform under pressure, and stay protected.
